Traditionally it was made with olive oil, however our Organic Castile Soap is made with a blend of sunflower and coconut oils, as organic olive oil is more expensive. The result is a biodegradable, eco-friendly soap that cleanses without leaving any harsh residues. How to use it
How to Use
- First of all, you can use it as a hand wash.
- Castile Soap can be used for a shaving lather.
- It can be used as a pet shampoo.
- By adding herbal infusions and D-Panthenol, use it as a natural shampoo.
- Great when used for washing clothes and nappies.
- For general cleaning, dilute it and use it in a spray bottle. Effective when used for heavy-duty degreasing.
- Simply add fragrances, essential oils or other appropriate raw materials e.g. Botanical CO2 Extracts and stir into the Castile Soap thoroughly.
- For making body scrubs with Castile Soap
- Mix in 1-3% Apricot Kernel Powder together with 1-2% Jojoba Exfoliating Grains. Shake well before use as the exfoliating agents sink.
Storage and Shelf Life
- 3 years maximum (see product label). Store cool and dark in an airtight container.

- Remember, if adding lavender essential oil, this will usually thicken the soap.
