Our Aloe Vera Concentrate is a potent, water-soluble extract from the inner fillet of the Aloe Barbadensis leaf. It is washed, de-spined, pulped, flash pasteurised and stabilised. This patented process keeps beneficial properties of the plant to ensure the retention of the plant’s benefits and reduce aloin content to safe levels.

This concentrate has a clear to slightly hazy appearance with a light amber colour and a faint natural scent. It’s lightweight and non-greasy, perfect for adding to your cosmetic formulations, from serums to conditioners.

• As Aloe Vera Concentrate is acidic (pH 3.5-5.0) it can cause emulsions to separate if the emulsion is not particularly strong. We have found that when adding the Aloe Vera Concentrate to the heated water stage (Stage 2) this potential problem is overcome.

Using an Aloe Vera Gel that has no oil in it can feel tight and drying on the skin.
