A pale yellow, watery oil that is obtained from steam distillation of the fresh or dried flowers of the Helichrysum plant.
According to the Cosmetic Ingredient Database (CosIng), the functions of Helichrysum Essential Oil are: Masking, Perfuming.
Please note: we have recently sourced our stock from a new supplier and whilst the technical documents are exactly the same, the oil does have a slightly different aroma to previous batches.
Skin Care

- When i source my essential oils, it is important for me to know the country of origin of that oil. Can not find that information on the individual essential oils page and neither in the tech docs

- Thank you for your enquiry. Please see the below response from our Research and Development Team; "Helichrysum is quite a strong smelling essential oil, so 0.25% to 0.5% works nicely. Fortunately, it is an immensely powerful oil as well, so the lower amount is still very effective. Smell it for yourself and start with the lower amount. Add more if it appeals to you."

- Thank you for your enquiry. Please see the below response from our Research and Development Team; "It really depends on the purpose of the product you are making. As Helichrysum has a distinct and fairly strong smell we suggest no more than 0.5% it is very effective at this rate. The product will last as long as your Rosehip oil is not rancid."
