Q&A

I've been searching for Blue tansy but I don't think I trust the sources. Blue chamomile is listed as an essential with a blue tint so I was wondering how of this I'd need to color my blend of oils that currently a pale gold to a blue color. I have also saved Blood orange and red mandarin so I'd like to know which of these I could use to gain a red coloring added to my blend of Aloe vera gel and rose water as well as how much i would need to use.
The blue chamomile is a very inky blue and may not look so attractive in a product. Maxiumum use is 1% The Blood Orange and Red Mandarin are the sources of the oils, but the actual oils are not that strong in colour not really showing through in a finished product. The Blood Orange is so called because the flesh is thought to be the colour of blood (it is nowhere near that in reality), but anyway, the oil comes from the peel.
