Product Description
Lamesoft® PO65 is a clear to slightly yellow liquid derived from coconut, palm kernel, and sunflower oils. It acts as a gentle emulsifier and lipid layer enhancer, restoring the skin’s natural feel post-cleansing. As a natural lipid found in human skin, it is highly compatible and effective. Glucose enhances its moisturizing properties.
Lamesoft® PO65 enhances texture and thickness in mild shampoos, body washes, and lotions, offering a skin-softening sensation without added preservatives. Ideal for baby care and sensitive skin, it serves as a high-performance thickening agent and is cold-process compatible. This eco-friendly ingredient is composed of fatty acid glyceryl ester and alkyl glucoside from natural sources like sunflower oil. Certified by the Nordic Swan, it's perfect for natural and gentle skincare in personal care products.
Skin Care
- Excellent to use in facial washes, body washes, and cleansers.
- Lamesoft PO65 is suitable for all skin types but is especially gentle for sensitive skin, children, and babies.
Hair Care
- Supports the function of Natural Surfactant Base in a shampoo.
- Softens and moisturizes the hair shaft whilst conditioning the scalp.
Other
- Use at 1% to 5%. Water-soluble, so it cannot be used in oil-only products.
Suggested Blends
- Works well when blended with Natural Surfactant Base.
Due to the naturally occurring Vitamin A content, we would not recommend to use this on babies.

- Thank you for your enquiry. There isn't a direct substitute but you could try using Lumorol K 5229 in combination with Beta T as that could work. I would recommend starting with a small batch to adjust and test as needed. Obviously as we haven't tried this, we can't guarantee the results.

- Thank you for your enquiry. The new stock should be arriving between 6-8 weeks and it is vegan friendly. Aromantic does not stock any products that are derived from animals and has never carried out any animal testing for any purpose, and never will. We welcome the European wide ban on the testing of cosmetic products and cosmetic ingredients on animals and support the banning of animal testing worldwide for any purpose. Unfortunately, many ingredients have been tested on animals in the past and this historical information will appear on some safety data sheets.

- Thank you for your enquiry. Lamesoft PO65 should be fine with a cationic surfactant. There's no obvious reason why it wouldn't work. It's non ionic and non ionic tends to be compatible with anionic and cationic surfactants. As always, it would be best to carry out a small scale production first before embarking on a large scale production to check for any incompatibilities with other ingredients.
