Product Description
Liquid Coconut Oil, also known as Fractionated Coconut Oil, is a lightweight, fast-absorbing oil that remains liquid at room temperature. The process of making fractionated coconut oil involves separating the solid fats from the liquid components, resulting in a clear, stable oil with a long shelf life. Unlike virgin coconut oil, which is pressed directly from fresh coconuts and is less processed, fractionated coconut oil is processed further to achieve its liquid form and remove the coconut scent.
Liquid coconut premium oil is a high-quality, non-GMO, non-hydrogenated oil sourced from premium coconuts. In addition to Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, other ingredients may be added to the formulation to enhance performance or texture.
This oil is mostly saturated fats with smaller amounts of monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, which makes it stable and unique. Made from the mixed tri-ester of Glycerin with Caprylic and Capric fatty acids derived from Cocos Nucifera (Coconut), Liquid Coconut Oil is oxidation stable. Its dry feel and light consistency make it a popular choice in modern skincare and haircare formulations.
This oil is suitable for all skin types, including sensitive, eczema-prone, and psoriasis-prone skin. It soothes dry, irritated areas and supports a smooth, balanced appearance.

It's a clear, odourless, light oil made from the mixed tri-ester of Glycerin, Caprylic and Capric Acids from Cocus Nucifera (Coconut). It is liquid at room temperature.
Because it is much purer than the original solid oil, it feels drier and much less greasy. It is very stable against oxidation as the unstable fatty acid chains have been removed. This is the type that we stock, as we feel it is far superior and has much more functionality.
Decades ago, the only way to get a pourable coconut oil was to melt the solid coconut oil. Different kinds of fats would separate depending on their differing melting points. Sometimes a centrifuge was used to speed up the process, but essentially, the harder fats were removed from the coconut oil, and the solids could be used for other purposes, leaving a pourable oil.
The term “Liquid Fractionated” is still used even though it is nearly always a different process now. Most often, steam hydrolysis is applied to the solid coconut fat, and this separates the glycerol from the fatty acid chains. There are several different types of fatty acid chains, and some of them are the ones that accelerate rancidity. Esterification then pulls back some of the fatty acid chains together to form a stable triglyceride, which is much more stable against rancidity.
How to use it
- Use 1% to 100%.
- Oil soluble so cannot be used in water only products. It can be used in small amounts in water based gels that will hold it in suspension.
- Heat stable so can be used in Stage 1 (fat stage) when making creams and lotions.
Skin Care

Liquid Coconut Oil produces an effective barrier on the skin to slow down TEWL (Transepidermal Water Loss), which keeps the skin hydrated and flexible. It does not clog the pores at all. Excellent to use in hand creams, foot creams and sports products.

It is a superb emollient and softens the skin. It absorbs into the skin very easily and is light enough to spray through some spray nozzles. Due to its elegant texture, it is used in protective skin care products such as hand and foot creams or lotions, which protect the skin from the elements.

It has excellent stability and makes a great component of massage oils and creams, giving good traction for working in specific areas, especially when blended with other ingredients. It is much less likely to stain massage covers and towels than other oils, and washes out more easily.
- Liquid Coconut Oil is very effective to use as a base for oil-based perfumes as it has no fragrance of its own, is very stable to oxidation, and is fine enough to spray through some nozzles (check the size of the spray nozzle you have first).

Make a great bath oil by adding essential oils. This leaves the skin soft and well conditioned but be sure to clean out the bath afterwards so no one slips.
