This spring, Formula Botanica are offering a free masterclass series on how to formulate a skin care product. There are lots of classes out there on making your own skincare and this is a great and easy way to get a taster of what creating your own skincare products can involve.
Our Formula Botanica Masterclass Kit conveniently includes the ingredients needed during the series! It is also a more cost-effective way to purchase the ingredients too - You'll save over £20 on the cost of buying each item individually!
What is the Masterclass Series?
The masterclass series starts on the 23rd of April 2026. It consists of online episodes teaching you how to formulate a natural face cream. The lessons cover a range of topics, including what kind of equipment is needed, formulation and preserving your products. You will receive a downloadable workbook when you register as well.

To create a gentle, fast-absorbing cream built around Jojoba Oil for a silky-light feel, Rose Hydrosol to soothe and tone the delicate eye area, and Rosehip CO₂ Extract for a radiant finish. A touch of Cucumber Glycerite adds cool, dewy freshness, and Vitamin E supports the formula's longevity.
After cleansing, take a tiny amount on your ring finger and gently tap around the orbital bone, from the inner corner beneath the eye, out to the temple, and back along the brow bone. Use morning and night for best results. A little goes a long way.

150 ml Organic Rose Hydrolat
30 ml Organic Jojoba Oil
10 ml Organic Cucumber Glycerol Extract
10 gr Olivem® 1000 emulsifier
5 ml Organic Rosehip Seed CO2 Extract
5 ml Vitamin E
5 ml Preservative Eco
1 x Amber Plastic 50ml bottle with Black Pump Cap

The Recipe & Kit Make:
The recipe itself is for 50 g of cream, we have included enough material in the kit to make 200 g or 4 times the 50g batch that the recipe makes, with some left over just in case. - I ordered the masterclass kit through my niece who lives in London specifically in Loughton because l live in Ghana. It took a while for the product to be shipped to me here. So l missed the online class, but l have the kit sitting with me here with no instructions. Is it possible to send through my email, how to do the formulations.
