Gentle Purification

The lamellar structure of Illite acts like a micro-sponge, adsorbing excess sebum, environmental debris, and traces of pollution. Fine Pink Clay shares purifying properties with bentonite, a natural clay known for its ability to absorb impurities and excess oils from the skin. For enhanced detoxifying and pore-cleansing effects, Fine Pink Clay can be combined with witch hazel, a natural soothing ingredient often used in face masks to combat redness and pollution-related skin concerns.

Kaolin’s fine platelets lay down a soft mineral veil that can help reduce the appearance of redness, leaving sensitive skin looking calm and even.

Blending Fine Pink Clay with natural ingredients like Rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) extract or oil can provide additional soothing benefits. Adding leaf extract or leaf oil, such as rosemary leaf oil, can further support skin comfort and health.

• 2 tbsp Fine Pink Clay

• 1 tbsp rose hydrosol

• 1 tbsp Fine Pink Clay

• 2 tsp aloe vera juice

• 1 tsp jojoba oil. Massage into a damp scalp, leave for 5 minutes, rinse thoroughly.

• 80g cocoa butter

• 10g Fine Pink Clay

• 10g sweet almond oil. Melt, stir, pour into moulds, and allow to set for a nourishing, pink-tinted soak.
