Product Description

Organic Cucumber Glycerol Extract is a clear, mobile liquid with a soft green‑yellow hue and the fresh, subtle scent of garden cucumber.

This extract is derived from organic cucumber (cucumis sativus), a cultivated plant with a long history of use in skincare.

Formulated by blending vegetable glycerin with purified water and cold‑pressed cucumber fruit extract, it captures the cooling qualities of cucumbers in a format that disperses easily in water‑based products. The extract is a host of beneficial constituents that support skin health.

Because glycerin is a powerful humectant, this extract draws moisture into the upper layers of the skin, helping to maintain suppleness throughout the day.

At the same time, cucumbers’ naturally occurring phytosterols and trace minerals support skin that looks calm and even‑toned.

Unlike pure glycerin, this specialised blend feels light, spreads effortlessly, and leaves no tacky residue. It is an excellent addition to toners, gels, serums, emulsions, sheet‑mask essences, and after‑sun sprays where a refreshing skin finish is essential.

How to use it

Skin Care

• The glycerin part of the Cucumber Glycerol Extract is a very good humectant that keeps the skin moisturised.
  
  
• With the addition of the Cucumber Extract, you have a product that improves the complexion.
  
  
• Add to toners and facial spritzes. Works very well when combined with floral waters.
  
  
• Add to gels, lotions, and creams. Ideal to put into eye creams and serums.
  
  
• Use in anti-acne facial washes, cleansers, and toners.
  
  
• It can help the skin to look fresh and revitalised.
  
  
• It is also an emollient and is soothing to the skin.

Hair Care

• As an astringent, it will help to tone an oily scalp.

Other

• Use at 3% to 6%. It is safe to use at higher amounts, but there is a possibility that the end product may feel a little sticky.
  
  
• Water-soluble, so it cannot be used in oil-only blends.
  
  
• Once opened, do not leave the cap off the bottle whilst you are working, and after use, squeeze some of the air out of the bottle to reduce potential oxidation and seal tightly.
  
  
• Store in a cool, dry place.
  
  
• Protect from freezing and direct sunlight.
